  1. Sail under way has right of way.
Is that Rodney at the helm of the powerboat?

    1. Unless you are trying to dodge an aircraft carrier, USS Enterprise, entering San Francisco Bay sometime between 1976-1978. A sailboat under sail is still a lot more maneuverable than an aircraft carrier in tight quarters. But yes, this is definitely the power boat's,fault here.

    1. Really like the guy in the second photo, standing at the helm with his hands on his hips. "Well, there's your problem"

  5. Running on autopilot & nobody at the helm. Not sure how else that could happen. Stupid stuff like that keeps us in business.

  6. Wasn't it on Lake Shasta that a drunk Sheriff deputy ran his powerboat at speed over a sailboat? A guy died. About 12 years ago. He was found not guilty.

These pictures remind me of that.

    1. There's always somebody with that stupid line. Yeah, it was funny the first few times we've all seen it. Now, after 14397 times, not so much.
