And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Unless you are trying to dodge an aircraft carrier, USS Enterprise, entering San Francisco Bay sometime between 1976-1978. A sailboat under sail is still a lot more maneuverable than an aircraft carrier in tight quarters. But yes, this is definitely the power boat's,fault here.
Wasn't it on Lake Shasta that a drunk Sheriff deputy ran his powerboat at speed over a sailboat? A guy died. About 12 years ago. He was found not guilty.
