And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I was in a local gun store on the 14th and while I was talking to one of the guys at the counter a really attractive woman, mid to late 20s, comes up and asked to pay the transfer fees for the weapon she had ordered for her boyfriend for Valentine's Day so she could just bring him by later to pick it up.
Every guy there that heard her had exactly the same thought:
Just before Valentines one year, my wife asked for a gun “that would fit her hand”. I got her a Beretta Tomcat in .32. She didn’t like it too much, so for Mother’s Day she picked out an S&W 9mm single stack that she loves to shoot and she got her concealed permit and qualified at the range in rapid fire. It has been her purse gun for many years now. Don’t mess with Mama Bear!
