Russian chick give a lesson on how to start and drive a tank. Her name is ... no joke ... Nastya!

  1. Technically, I believe it is an armored personnel carrier, APC since it didn't seem to have a turret or tracks.

    1. An APC can have both turrets and tracks. The main difference between an APC and a tank is the amount of armor , the size of the main gun and the ability to carry mounted infantry inside the hull.
      I think this girl is driving a variant of the BTR. It is wheeled and can have a small turret with either a 14.5mm machine gun or a 30mm autocannon. It has a crew of 3 and can carry a 7 man infantry squad. You can see the turret behind the two top hatches with the barrel of the gun sticking between them.


      The Russian BMP series is tracked and has a turret. It carries a crew of 3 and an 8 man infantry squad.

  4. BTR "bronye transportyor" (armored transporter)... I'm thinking it was a BTR-80, might have been a BTR-70 though. I gotta brush up on it.
