And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Got my Texas Pete's in the mail today
Gobbled the first pepper I could fish out of the jar.
First, there was a sudden heat strike, which was hot enough to be worrisome, but it soon mellowed into a rolling heat that eventually faded to a pleasant warmth.
I've never known anyone to actually eat the peppers! We normally just sprinkle the pickling juice on random things. And, by random things, I really mean greens.
Hi "CW," Texas Pete is "OK," but I make my own.... Between me and My Late Wife' Cousin's Garden patch.. we grow our own, bottle them up and .... you probably know the rest of the drill... Pour some of the "juice" on "Greens!!" "Collards!!! if "youknowwhatmean??" Have several "jug's" n the pantry!! "GOOD STUFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
When I was a kid, when had a littl bottle of Trappey's like that. Mom filled it up with vinegar every time it got low. Used it on collards and spinach. It held the heat pretty well. I bet it was 15 years old at least. Right after my wife and I married, she popped open the bottle and ate one. I couldn't believe she broke the sacred seal on top and actually started removing the "seed corn". I married a barbarian bride.....
It's true what they all said. Notice that it's not labelled as "Pickled Peppers" but as SAUCE. It's vinegar with an attitude and made to flavorize all things green. We also, in Tennessee, grow and bottle our own. Delectable. db
