Update: It's going commercial.
On a serious note, there are a surprising number of nations pledging military support in the form of weapons to Ukraine. It's turned into a David v. Goliath, Bully v. The Underdog thing. Everybody supports the underdog when they see an unprovoked attack.
I'm thinking Putin didn't anticipate that (among many other things).
Meanwhile, here at home, our leaders are afraid of their own people.
Biden’s militarized State of the Union speech will showcase the Democrats’ insecurity.
While the Ukrainians fight a real army for their lives and freedom, and their unlikely leader declines to follow our advice to flee his capitol city, here at home the "leaders" call out the National Guard and set up fences in ours to keep the people at a safe distance while the "President" tells them lies about how good things actually are.
Ah, the War in Iraq all over again. And no messy brown people. Brought to ypu by the people who created Branch Covidiacy and murdered hundreds of thousands in its name. Remember Ivermectin?
ReplyDeleteThe U.S.A. deserves the Bidenreich.
The Ukrainian govt is corrupt, and some of the factions there have been doing some very brutal stuff. Watch out who you give your money to.
ReplyDeleteLikely true, Willard.
DeleteI wonder how our own gubmint ranks against them in the level of corruption. America no better, I surmise. I suspect even that the American gubmint is the reigning World Champion of Corruption.
Wag. The. Dog.
ReplyDeleteTheir money laundering operation is in danger.
When Soros, Schwab et al are on your side you are probably not the good guys.
The commie Ruskies aren't the good guys either.
This is probably about purging the masses easily swayed heads full of mush into forgetting the rape of their liberties in the name of Wuhan Lung AIDS by their fascist governments.
I don't trust Putin automatically, but... When you're fighting to defeat Nazis (actual nazis, not people who disagree with you), and against soros et al... Safe bet you're NOT the baddies.
Delete1980's are over; Stalin is dead. Wake up Rip VanWinkle. Check the news. Ever heard of the Woke Dems? The USA is far more commie and much less untited than Russia.
DeleteThe media is in full scale fabrication mode.
ReplyDeleteAnd simpletons still fall for their childish efforts.
Unprovoked? That's delusional. Maybe the Ukraine was just following the advice of NATO/EU/WEF, but then those are the ones who provoked this attack. RUssia was just being the usual legitimately paranoid Russia. After all, Obama's Russian Ambassador McFaul tried to foment the color revolution in Moscow as well as places like Libya, Georgia, and Ukraine.
ReplyDeleteThe West fed Ukraine into the Russian woodchipper. We are to blame, because of our idealogical hegemon foreign policy, when we know Russia has no interest in being modified to fit the image of a liberal democracy that the US has been going around the world trying to impose unsuccessfully.
I believe that Putin was satisfied to take the measure of other world "leaders", and thought that was enough. He never took the measure of the people he meant to subjugate, and here he is. He was right about the leaders of the west, not Ukraine.
ReplyDeleteIn all or most of the posted commentary about the war in Ukraine, nobody is mentioning that this war was provoked by the actions of the United States, and thus, this localized war might easily become a global nuclear holocaust.
ReplyDeleteRussia was forced into this fight because of being completely surrounded by NATO bases, with stated plans to install conventional missiles in Ukraine, which could be switched to nuclear warheads unobserved, and then, could be launched against Moscow with no warning.
As for survival in a global nuclear war, the United States has no Civil Defense, but instead, still foolishly subscribes to the policy of Mutually Assured Destruction, while Russia has an extensive network of fully stocked nuclear fallout shelters, allowing survival and rebuilding.

Hopefully, all or any of those weapons will NOT end up in the hands of the Russkis for reverse engineering, or even use as is.
