    1. Actually chains have more friction. Think about how many moving parts there are in a chain.

  4. Benelli did other gear driven versions that share the artistry - https://www.cycleworld.com/story/bikes/about-motorcycle-engine-cam-drive-systems/ shows a 250 race engine.
