And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I *love* Buck knives, don't ask me how many I have. But...whiny-butt complaint. Can't see this as a froe. Chopping machete, maybe, but not a froe. Looks like it has a sharpened edge. Handle not offset for splitting. I blame the marketing people, some of whom I'll bet never seen or used a real froe.
I've carried a Buck knife since the 70s, that one won't fit well in my pocket :-)

Definitely not-a-froe.
DeleteBut Mongo still like.
$160 ????
ReplyDeleteWaaaaaaay too much coin.
I made one out of a big file from a yard sale and an hour at the grinder. Not pretty but works well.
The Manson weirdos used buck knives.
ReplyDeleteJust because you're a homicidal psychopathic cult follower doesn't mean you can't appreciate a knife that holds a sharp edge.
DeleteFunny they placed that "Idee-hoe" hole in end where a froe would often be struck with a wood maul. In time, could break the blade.
