  2. I *love* Buck knives, don't ask me how many I have. But...whiny-butt complaint.
    Can't see this as a froe. Chopping machete, maybe, but not a froe.
    Looks like it has a sharpened edge. Handle not offset for splitting.
    I blame the marketing people, some of whom I'll bet never seen or used a real froe.

    I made one out of a big file from a yard sale and an hour at the grinder. Not pretty but works well.

  5. Funny they placed that "Idee-hoe" hole in end where a froe would often be struck with a wood maul. In time, could break the blade.
