The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? NO it won't! All the cars going back to 2000ish have a delay circuit cuts off the lighting. As far as huge PIA for removing snow, then removing carpets and opening bottom of vent tubing, to drain and dry, THATS a drag! I wonder who opened their door after they left, leaving it open to fill. I knew some Asshole kids in junior high, did similar trick on a bad rain night, to a school admin they did not like. He had left the car unlocked, they rolled the windows down... bathtub... ~spiffy
