Some years back, I made a habit of shopping pawn shops and purchasing Leatherman tools for a 1/4 of the price NIB. Other than a few of the tools used, (some abused), they are solid tools. So I have a few stashed in various kits, my glove compartment. Pretty handy tool to keep nearby. I've never seen thus "+" version before though - thanks for the pictures and link.
Note that the link above goes to a Amazon page for a third party reseller, not from Amazon and not from Leatherman. Some reviews complain about receiving used or defective tools. And Amazon isn't taking responsibility for the product.

I much prefer Gerber multitools. They have much better grips.
ReplyDeleteRead the first two reviews.
ReplyDeleteAmazon ain't like it used to be.
I can see me throwing them under the bus in the near future like I did ebay 10 years ago.
