And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I used to work at the Trinity River Hatchery, about an hour west of Redding CA. The fish hatchery was like a bird cafeteria for every imaginable piscivorous bird. The kingfishers were the A-10 Warthogs of the place. Stout and strong, they always went for the ponds with the biggest fish.
And here in southern Oregon, the Herons absolutely love koi ponds. The koi are idiot friendly fish and think everyone above water is there to feed them.
There was a cartoon book ages ago called, "Never Eat Anything Bigger Than Your Head" that Kingfisher could learn from.
