And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I think that I'd rather have a small pistol than a telescope...
ReplyDeleteThink I'd rather have a bigger pistol with a couple reload mags. Leave the telescope on the back deck.
ReplyDeleteNah, rifle or shotgun. Or even a sword. Pistols fit on your body, no need to bother with a long implement for that.
ReplyDeleteObviously what we need is a multi-tool cane. Put a compass in the knob, a telescope in the handle, and a blade in the shaft!
