And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
In the last 3 weeks I've seen two different Corvair pick up trucks, I don't remember when I saw a Corvair before that and I don't remember ever seeing a pick up model.
Circa 1962 I drove one on a route in Denver. In snow, not enough weight on the front wheels. We added sandbags on the floorboard. Otherwise, not controllable. Also, the heater sucked. Good for CA.
Holy crap! Dewey's shop! Instant deja vu when I saw the picture. When I was about 11 I hung out there. He showed me how to build my first 9ft board. Sucker must have weighed 100 lb. Like riding a Mac truck, but it was mine!
Cool Corvair van
