    1. Are you talking about the squish-crunch of wet 30° snow, or the squeaking cry of -20° snow?

  3. Looks like Iceland. Have driven a few roads there when the ice and snow are so cold it is no different than driving on dry pavement. The tire pressure does not liquefy at the contact surface. Snow squeaks when walking too. Recall one winter up in the UP where at -40 we had same snow characteristics.
