  2. That's a B-52 operating off Guam practicing dropping iron bombs on Farallon de Medinilla. That island is a practice range north of Saipan and Tinian.

In the 80s, the local fishermen would be near the island hoping that someone would drop short or long. As soon as the drop was finished, the fishing boats would move in to pick up any stunned fish.

There are photos of Farallon de Medinilla on Google and if you look at the thumbnails, you will see Crew 33 dropping 750 pound, high drag snake eyes during the operational testing and evaluation of those mutions at low level from a BUFF.

  4. always with the sledgehammers. them BUFF drivers only know one way. Kill them all and let GOD sort them out. Of late, they've been playing with dropping SDBs down at Hurlburt. sort of like stabbing the bad guys in the eye with a hat pin instead of hitting them in the butt with a bass fiddle.
