And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
It was the most bizarre concept I had to wrap my head around when a little kid called me "Grandpa". And now that little kid is a grown woman with a baby of her own. That makes me ???????
And yes, I do recall Forest Service Green, all over the woods.
I remember the Forest Service pickups with the man racks in the bed. I can't say that I can recall ever seeing a travel trailer painted Forest Service colors.
I realized the other day that "I'm grandpa"....sobering.
