And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Just enough wool to make you itch. Look for near 100% acrylic. 20 years ago Wigwam made good socks in this, but I tried buying them a few years ago, and they had become junk.
I'm a big Carhartt traditional jeans fan (15 oz denim) and I really like their work/chore coats too, but their 're-imagined' newer-line stuff leaves me thinking they are cashing in on their name and turning out expensive-yet-substandard stuff. Following Levis lead, I guess.

ReplyDeleteLike all wool socks these days - Wigwams included - those look like they're 80% spandex. Too tight and not at all comfortable.
