    2. It looks more like a 22 long (not long rifle)...The angle it is at makes it hard to tell but it just seems a bit larger than a short.

  3. The difference between the Long and the Long Rifle is actually the length of the bullet outside of the case. I have a Winchester 1890 pump action .22 that says .22 Long on it. If you feed it Long Rifle the feeder jams on the end of the bullet. There may also be a difference in the powder charge. You can shoot Long Rifle in it single shot if you want to.

  4. Who really gives a damn about the type of 22 cartridge? The flames is what is interesting here. Where can I get that done to a set of pistol grips?

  6. Looks like a centerfire cartridge to me. Possibly a .32 H&R Magnum.
    That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
