Thridrangar lighthouse, Southern Iceland was built in 1939 via experienced mountaineers that sailed to the cliff and then scaled it to the top to begin the work.

    1. No internet there. Jeffrey Toobin wouldn't care. All he needs are the images stored in his mind to make his stay "pleasurable".

  5. Looks like the rock spur would block the light. I'd be inclined to mount it on top of that. If I was stationed there, I think I would be working on carving rooms into that block. That would keep someone occupied.
