And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I once saw a late 50s or early 60s Cadillac limousine with a manual transmission. I'm not sure about the year model because I saw it sometime in the 1970s. The owner said it drove like a dream.
I wished I had my camera with me yesterday. Parked beside my car was a vintage Meteor (late 40's) in perfect condition. The windows were open and I stuck my head inside to ogle the dash. OMG all those old fashioned gizmos and the plaid seatcover ... gorgeous. I wanted to nab you a shot... someone loves that old car.
Cadillac ?
ReplyDeleteMy guess is a Buick Riviera. Leather, console shifter. The 8 ball shifter is tacky though.
