And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I think the fish eye lens makes it look closer that it really is. Did some scary shit out of a Jet Ranger, or a Hughs 500T, on the Toulumne river one summer, getting dropped off to do fish research, one skid on a boulder, in the river. Toed into a shallow steep beach with blades 3 or four feet from the hillside. Landing on the only beach under huge pine trees leaning out over the river and beach. One of the pilots was a Nam vet, had been shot down and crashed numerous times. Fun, but probably not like getting shot at at the same time.
Too close is when you break a blade, when you pull pine needles out of the tip cap joint you were close...
