And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Well, both are soaps, but shaving soaps/creams are formulated to increase the amount and quality of lather and slickness, and there sometimes are additions to smooth or sooth the face because shaving can be irritating.
The scents can be different, of course. Not too many hand soaps that have a leather, or tobacco, or similar smell.
So, not exactly the same, but you certainly can use regular hand soap to shave.
Actually, lots of people do find it entertaining. I know I was amazed at how many artisans produce product to cater to shavers, and of course, once you go down the rabbit hole of off-beat subjects like this, you discover all sorts of interesting stuff. Like straight razors. Takes some skill to both use and learn to properly sharpen them. Steel quality becomes an issue. You can get great old vintage straights for a decent price, since there are so many out there on the market. Or, there are guys who make unbelievable custom razors which people pay up to 700 bucks for. Go figure. People used to think if the steel were magnetized, it would be better quality, so some old razors have that etched on the blade. Just round and round. Lots of fun with an otherwise boring everyday chore.
And by the way, you should see a doctor about those bile levels - can't be healthy to have them boiling up that high.

ReplyDeleteBasic handsoap works as good as any shaving creme. Also hair conditioner (Clairol) Works just fine too.
