And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I've got one of those bad boys, but not the sniper version. It's a nice shooter, but definitely use hearing protection!
Maybe it's just my advancing age, but it also gave my shoulder quite a thumpin', and next day I was black & blue. So I would also recommend a recoil pad. Shooting at night is a blast, this gun really lights up the place!
Gotta wonder about some 5' nothing, 100 pound VC running through the Vietnam jungle lugging this thing and getting all banged up shooting it. My dad got one for me when he was there. And yes, hearing protection! I am right handed, but shooting this thing puts a ring in my left ear for hours!
The sniper version, no less.
ReplyDeleteAlways wanted to take one of those for a test drive.

Not just you. My 1936 Tula kicks like a mule on meth.

DeleteI regret not picking up a couple of these when they were $75 out the door. (I was buying SKSs!)
