“Democrats and Joe Biden have made clear they intend to challenge this election. They intend to fight the legitimacy of the election. As you you know Hillary Clinton has told Joe Biden ‘under no circumstances should you concede, you should challenge this election.’ and we cannot have election day come and go with a 4-4 court.”
Cruz continued, “A 4-4 court that is equally divided cannot decide anything. And I think we risk a constitutional crisis if we do not have a nine-justice Supreme Court, particularly when there is such a risk of … a contested election.”
Cruz then shared his experience litigating Bush vs. Gore case and how the country didn’t know for 37 days who the president-elect was. “I think we have the responsibility to do our job. The president should nominate a principled constitutionalist with a proven record and the Senate … should do our job and protect the country from the constitutional crisis that could result otherwise.”
Hillary. Again, spreading her poison through the body politic.
She just can't stop being evil, so, I guess that makes her a worthy leader of the modern Democratic Party.
Gonna be hard without Romney, Collins, and Murkowski.

Maoist methods (Cancel Culture) are used to erase America's Customs, Culture, History, and Established Ideas in their strategy to destroy America's current form of government based on the Founding Father's Constitutional blueprint. Their ultimate goal is to install a Totalitarian atheistic government that starts out as a form of corrupt and unworkable Socialism.
ReplyDeleteAmerica endured 8 years of Obama's criminal political assault and his failed coup called (RussiaGate) to overthrow President Trump. RussiaGate was a conspiracy to overthrow a sitting president carried out by a coordinated effort of high-ranking government employees across many agencies, who knew exactly what they were doing. Americans are starting to understand how the Obama administration weaponized the DOJ, FBI, CIA and IRS to go after his political opponents, and in doing so, he trampled the Constitution and fueled the violent overthrow of cultural norms. America, in her glorious history, has never experienced anything in politics as corrupt as Obama's RussiaGate. Nixon's WaterGate political crimes look like an overdue library book by comparison.

My working theory she died in July, they hoped this would be soon enough to the election. But DJT isn't having any of that.
ReplyDeletePolitics aside, Cruz makes avery good point. The operating priciple of "the highest court in the land" is an odd number of jurists, to force a decision one way or another and not allow a hung court.
ReplyDeleteThe theory was as the populations leanings swayed from left to right over time, the court would mimic this, and lean left when the people do and lean right when the people do (on a macro-scale, not every four years BS)
