  2. decades back two brothers bought a former top fuel funny car and made a bracket racer out of it. they could buy any junkyard small block chevy, run ten seconds, and the engine could not stress the driveline.

    call me a heretic if you must, but that is what I would do with a car like this. fast enough for my reflexes, affordable, unbreakable

  3. Honda RA300. I saw it race at the Nurburgring, German Grand Prix, 1967. Loudest car on the track.

    1. I must correct myself. It was the RA273 I saw in Germany. The RA300 came later in the season. The RA273 was still loud, though.

  5. I once had a young airman stuff a salvaged J-85 turbojet in the back of a '65 Biscayne station wagon in south west OK. did time in the county slammer for blowing the hood off of the sheriffs car and drilling the radiator with the exhaust.
    this car looks like just sitting in it would have put him there.
