Dagen H, today usually called "Högertrafikomläggningen", was the day on 3 September 1967, in which the traffic in Sweden switched from driving on the left-hand side of the road to the right.

 



What's Swedish for "chaos?"

  1. True to form, at the time here in the UK there was an Irish joke.
    "Due to the problem Sweden has had with the driving change, Ireland has proposed that cars will change on the Monday, buses on the Tuesday, trucks on the Wednesday . . ."
