  2. What's that contraption at the aft end? It looks a little like a dual supercharger setup, with the Roots blowers on end and maybe twin hydraulic turbos feeding it too>?.

  3. It certainly looks like it can get out of its own way. That powerplant would look nice in the back of an old Criscraft also.

  4. It looks like a two stage turbocharger. It seems to have at least one turbo
    visible on the left front.

  5. I looked it up on the (ultimatecarpage.com)
    V12 Auto Union with twin stage Roots supercharger circa 1938
    3 litre and 485 bhp.
    apparently a real beast to control.
