I'd drive that right out of there. But then, I'd never get myself in that dumb of a position to start with

An unknown Jeeper in SoCal just bailed and abandoned his rig after wrangling himself into this position.

Damning photos of the four-door Jeep were posted to the Hemet Eye News Facebook group and almost immediately shared a thousand times over. There's little context to go off of, but it's clear to see the—ahem—adventurous wheelman decided they'd had enough of the narrow trail. With a steep dropoff looming no matter what route they took and the passenger side hanging toward a rocky ravine, giving up was definitely the best choice they made that day.

It frankly doesn't look too bad from this angle.

  3. Must be "Broke-Back mountain", because it looks like someone got stuck on the rim.

  5. This is less a testament to the Jeep than it is to the lousy thinking of the driver. Don't blame the tool when the craftsman screws up.

    1. All four-wheel drive does is get you stuck in more "interesting" places.

And, In_my_humble_opinion, "a Nadler moment" or "He Nadlered himself" needs to be added to our lexicon. I know I'm going to be using it from now on.

  8. I think that probably induced a Jerrold Nadler moment.

  9. What a puzzy to give up on that! That's doable, IMHO.

  10. I doubt I would have given it up

  11. The driver peered down into the ravine at all the other Jeeps down there and lost his will.
