And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Gawd, I have an old set of 1980's vintage enamelware that we used as dinnerware at the ranch house all the time. Since we divided the ranch and lost the house to others, we no longer took the set as too bulky to load each and every trip.
I need to dig them out again - a lot of good memories from when my Brother and I were in our 20's. Chicken 'n fajitas, baked potato and sliced avocado and ranch style beans, all with flour tortillas cooked over a mesquite wood grille. Yum !
