Why didn't this catch on, I wonder?

  1. Far too dangerous when braking quickly is my guess, and also very difficult to maneuver it quickly in an emergency (gyro effect).

  3. It was the good old days that produced the Greatest Generation. You played. Sometimes you got bruised, but you got over it, adapted and then played smarter.

  5. Just too dangerous and unstable at the time. I'm not sure today's motor wheels have been improved on either.
