    Guy said he did it because he wanted a sealed structure that was 'different.'

Many years ago I recall reading an article (with pics) about a guy in southern Calif. who used the plexiglass front section from a decommissioned bomber for a room attached to his mountain-top home. You'd walk into it like a sunroom and it gave a great view over the valley. If anyone knows the details about that home and if it still exists, I'd love to see it again.
