And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
One of my coworkers was GIVEN one of those a few years back, lucky guy. A friend of his had a Grandparent pass away and the handgun was part of his effects, found in a nightstand. The friend had no knowledge of firearms, and gave it to my coworker.

I bought a later .25 cal. model back in the 1960s. A great pocket piece, but I wouldn't want to go to war with it.

ReplyDeleteAs a dealer once told me once when I told him I had a Colt .25, “Better a mouse gun, than no gun”. So true.
