And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Everybody, including these guys, made Tombstone an instant Western classic, by playing their parts to the hilt, and leaving everything on the field. If you liked the heroes and hated the bad guys, I rest my case. That was their freaking job.
The guy on the right, Stephen Lang, was not only Ike Clanton, but played Stonewall Jackson in the Gettysburg prequel, Gods and Generals, and was also the first guy who played the role of Col. Jessup in the stage production of A Few Good Men, before it became a movie with Tom Cruise and Jack Nicholson.
He's got some chops.
He's also celebrating his 40th wedding anniversary next year, which is no mean achievement for humans in general, let alone Hollywood types.
