    1. Nemo, that's a durian, and they don't smell nice. I've known people who developed a taste for that, but it doesn't appeal to me.

  3. ...when the kids were little, I'd bring home a durian, tamarind pods, ugly fruit, betel nuts. Still buy (durian, leeche nut, ginger, coffee) candy for them. They may never see people from the other side of the planet, but they do know some of their foods. himself

  5. I can do with all except that durian. Hotels in Thailand will not even allow those things in the doors! Walking down the street and you can smell a stand selling them from 50 yards away!
