And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Judging by that left thumb though he needs a little more practice with that 8 pounder. Oops. Got to admit, my own left thumb has looked like that many times. I think my left hand thinks that my right hand is a psychotic killer.
there are Ammonites in the US at Pueblo reservoir on the Arkansas River, Pueblo CO. now at five+ thousand feet altitude, used to be a sea bed. Exposed on the surface. the geology there is interesting.
It does take a practiced eye to find something like that.

ReplyDeleteAmmonites. I think that might be the U.K., Wales maybe. I've seen some big ammonites coming from that area, diameters measured in feet.
