And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Three vintage aircraft fly over my part of the world
HI C. W., "ABSOTUTELY!!!! GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!" 'Back when.. 'had the opportunity to Fly in all 3 aircraft... I could add a laundry list of "old Favorites!!!" 'Just a few... the "CLASSIC" J3 Cub, and if you can find one a PA-15 or PA-17 "Vagabond!!!" Piper took the "Cub" Fuselage, shortened it(took out the back seat and widened it to a '2-place') then cut off the wing from the root so that the ailerons start at the second rib from the fuse.!!!! the 15 had a 65 hp Franklin engine and the 17 had a 65 hp Continental... Talk about a zippy little bird!!!! One of my favorites.. the 7AC Aeronca "Champ" in 65 hp. Solo'ed "N2211E" back in'62 when I was 16 years old!! That Dope and fabric with 80 octane avgas smell haunts me to this day!!!!
"FLY!!!!!!!!!... While you still have your wings!!!!," skybill
PS Then there's "SKYDIVING" Don't get me going unless you have a lot of Whiskey, COLD BEER and TIME!!!!!
My Dad had a Luscombe "Silvaire" when I was a kid.....sold it in '54 to pay for my sister....he traded a Mooney Mite straight up, so he could take along a passenger....I remember flying out of New Smyrna Beach over the Atlantic coast with him and my Mom.....I was only four at the time....had my first inverted flight experience back then....I called my self helping him paint it red and white, in the open air next to the hanger....those days are gone forever....
