And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Awright Steve, exactly what is it you are working on in that car? And you best be taking off those spurs before jumping behind the wheel.
Somewhere in a dusty box I have a magazine article about the guns of Hollywood westerns. The "Mare's Leg" strapped to his hip is a cut down Winchester Model '92 chambered in 44-40. The director of "Wanted, Dead or Alive" felt that the 44-40 rounds looked too "puny" and so insisted they put 45-70 rounds in the belt cartridge loops for dramatic effect.
That is his Jaguar XKSS. The last time it changed hands, the buyer shelled out millions. It was the highest price ever paid for that model because it belonged to McQueen.
Fun fact.
