Karl Denninger minces no words on the rollout of Obamacare's website.

Ouch!

"Never mind that the software is completely screwed up.

So you're supposed to "trust" your private data to a "web site" that was designed and built by a government contractor who is utterly unaccountable to anyone, who may lose your data to hackers or other malefactors, and then even when it works nobody wants it as evidenced by the fact that only a few hundred customers actually bought something?

I've made my living in no small part designing and installing large software (and hardware, plus networking) installations my entire professional life.  Given two years I could have likely written this code alone, unaided, and while I'm sure it wouldn't be real pretty (I'm not a graphics design guy) it sure as hell would have worked.

About the only thing you can say about the so-called "exchanges" is that they're pretty.
But that's what we have now in government -- all gloss and glitz, no substance.

And if you manage to get past that what you find is a giant corn-cob headed straight for somewhere the sun doesn't shine.

This crap doesn't need to be fixed, it needs to be burnt to ash along with everyone involved in creating it.

Politically, of course."

  1. I don't find Obama and the wookie all that attractive. But maybe that's just me.
