  3. I remember a big holley and velocity stack that used to belch a flame like that when starting.

  4. That’s how we started the old Dodge each spring when it came out of winter storage. Air cleaner off, a little gas down the carb, fired right up. May have singed the insulation on the underside of the hood a little.

  6. Looks like the throttle was wide opened AND it should have sucked it down with that amount of throttle opening. Instead, it looks like that Edelbrock/Carter stumbled and backfired.
