And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I had an uncle that was a jeweler and he gave me a skeletonized Bulova Acutron when I graduated HS in 79. Five years later he convinces me to spend 6 weeks pay on a used Rolex. The Acutron works if I wear it. The Submariner losses 6 minutes an hour and is overdue a major service for a decade. I do not wear a watch unless I need to or as bling.
That Rolex service and repair (most likely) will come close to or over what you paid for the watch. Don't cheap out, get it back in order. If you want to unload it, the documentation of the rate, etc. is important. I bought my Rolex in the RN China Fleet Club in 1969. Last service was a year ago, over twice what I paid for the watch. But the old girl runs great and that's what counts. YMMV.
