And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
On the interstate, at night, in a heavy fog, I was driving at a greatly reduced speed. Cars were passing me like a high speed chase. I got off at the next exit. Soon after I heard about the pile up. Very stupid, entirely preventable.

ReplyDeleteI've seen similar, middle of the day, Truck trying to pass another on the downhill slope. On a two lane road on top of a fill - 50-meters to the flat.
