  2. Not for serious panel carriers.
    Won't work on "smooth" panels like melamine or drywall, and the clamp effect will crush or break drywall.

    And, the carrying position is awkward and likely to slip if walking over uneven terrain.

    Having all that weight up high on the outside of your shoulder feels very weerd tends to swerve you in that direction.

    I've been using one of these types for 40 years and don't expect to change.
