And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
My parents did the same. A refrigerator/freezer that was included for repeat customers is still in use today.
In my youngest brother's garage, that unit dates from 1968. The only problem is the refer door doesn't stay closed. That's fixed by stacking a weight against the door. The rubber seal is in great shape.
The price of feeder calves hit $368/100 lb yesterday. That's a record. Corn is the same price as itt was in the 1970's. Hopefully you are a rancher this year and not a farmer. Northwoods Free Man
On time I bought half a steer a friend raised that was all grass fed and finished with grain towards the end and my freezer looked just like that. The Filet off that steer were the best I ever had. The kids grew up, the wife left me and moved out of state so now I'm alone and could never eat that much. Unless of course I have a big Bachelor BBQ Cookout Bash!
I remember, with 6 kids in the house, my Dad buying half a cow and having it processed. our freezer looked like this twice a year!!!
