And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
That said, the world record largemouth caught by George Perry in 1932 was 22 lb 4 oz. and measured 32 and a half inches long. That's a big fish no matter how close it is to the camera.

Wow. I had no idea that bass got that big. I've caught a few 5 and 6 pounders, but, wow.
