  1. Back in the last 50's, my career US Air Force officer father was stationed in Japan. We had one of these ceramic "egg" grills as our barbeque grill. It worked really well. Maybe 30 years later, I was surprised to see them in the US as a "revolutionary new" item for sale.

    1. Well, if you were in Japan at that time, you should have known these were called hibachi pots. We were stationed in Japan a couple of times and had them, as well.

  2. Just cooked two dbl cut ny steaks on my BGE at 800 degrees. Damn good. Komodo or BGE, simply fantastic.
