  1. I am only aware of ONE American Indian named "Geronimo," and he was chief of the Chiricahua Apache tribe, not the Ute.

    Perhaps that name was popular all over the West?

    1. Geronimo is a Spanish name. It’s the Spanish version of Jerome, as in St. Jerome.

  2. Geronimo wasn't actually a chief but the War Shaman. Coloradas Mangas and Juh were 2 of the chiefs at the time.

  3. I am 1/16 Ute. There is the Utah Ute's and the Colorado Ute's. I am Colorado Ute.

  6. Hey! Is that that white man's blanket used for daylight savings time he's holding? The blanket where the white guys running this country, cut a foot off one end, sew it on the other end, and call the blanket longer?
