  1. How times have changed. Back in the day, the Japanese committed untold atrocities on the Chinese people. Now the Chinese are riding on Japanese motorcycles.

    1. The Inner Mongolian campaign in the period from 1933 to 1936 were part of the ongoing invasion of northern China by the Empire of Japan prior to the official start of hostilities in the Second Sino-Japanese War.

Do maybe the Mongols are not Chinese per se, their property butts up to China and the Japs devastated them as well.

  2. Also check out Tengger Cavalry if you like them. If rock is more you speed, Albert Kuvezin / Yat-Kha did some good covers on the Tuva Rock album.

  3. Too bad we'll never get a modern version of Knightriders where guys like this go up against English Knights and Polish hussars on European bikes. I'd pay to see that in theatres

  4. Nifty photo but I can't figure how to run the throttle and the sword at the same time. A horse's reins work with either hand.

    2. IIRC, some bikes for police use had a left hand throttle, so the officer could shoot while riding, pre ww2.
