And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I bought a rusty 5 pound Council Tool axe head that had a broken handle at a flea market for $2 about 50 years ago. I burnt out what was left of the handle and gave it a light sanding to get the rust and old paint off of it. I painted it red and put a good edge on it and then a new hickory $7 handle. I put handle #3 on it about 8 years ago when my son cracked it. It is probably older than me as Council Tool has been around since 1886. Good American steel.
Free returns too, just wipe the blood off.
ReplyDeleteAlmost too pretty to use. Fiskers is virtually impossible to break. Nice wall hanger though
ReplyDeleteThat isn't a Fiskars...it is an expensive Chinese of brand of unknown quality.
