And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I remember eating dried squid or octopus from any of the local markets on Okinawa back in 71-72. It was sold everywhere, kind of like you find beef jerky here. Just a bit sweet and so delicious. It wasn't packaged, just hanging looses.
Powder!? Anchovy powder, nah I don't think so. Hey, I like sardines, a lot. Breakfast includes a tin of deens just about every morning. But fish powder. I wouldn't know what to do with it. Not for me.
One whiff and I’d be hurling…
ReplyDeleteNope. Don't know until you try it. I'll probably get my package by the end of the weekend, whip some up, then hurl! Hahahaha!
DeleteDon't forget to hit the fishmonger and grab a doz "sea" scallops. You know, the BIG 4" ones, that they cookie cutter out of skate wings.
DeleteShockingly, there is a fishmonger here that probably does have scallops. Bet they're pricy. But then, life is short, right? Eat the scallops!
Delete1st rate pizza topping! Yum.
ReplyDeleteAre you sure this has a sodium level up to your usual standards, Jesus.
ReplyDeleteBetter you, than me. You won't have to call, they'll know you're coming, because they can tell you're breathing.
ReplyDeleteBet it makes good bait to catch something to eat.
