Got a set of these and the ladies hereabouts love them

  1. Not bad, but I wonder if it would be better to have a locking latch on all 4 edges. Much prefer borosilicate glass to plastic though.

    1. I have a set of ten. Round, square, of different sizes. Real glass, plastic lids, four locks. I use them regularly. Four years and zero signs of wear. A gift, I don't know the price.

  2. I'm in favor of glass over plastic but man, $35 for 4 small containers?

Couple years ago we replaced all plastic food storage containers for Pyrex and Anchor Hocking glass.

Getting to where you can't afford anything any more.

    1. I recently bought a jug with threaded metal lid from Anchor Hocking. The glass jug is fine. The metal lid is garbage, probably contracted from a Chinese company.

  3. I have some of those. The local college students throw them out at the ends of the long semesters.

  4. I've got several of these. They have a really great gasket seal. However, they do tend to develop cracks over time. It's been a few years, but they still haven't leaked even with the cracks. Not sure what causes the cracking, microwave, dishwasher?

    1. Strike that last comment. The ones I have don't have any glass, just plastic and the seal.

  5. We bought 8 last week. No more plastic food storage.
