And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? Got a family shack almost exactly same, can't leave anything out, the meeces ravage the place, like a horde of locust. 1st thing arriving is open every door and window, then sweep and disinfect all surfaces. They will eat an entire wool blanket in a month. But its a sweet place mules iff the asphalt, right on a brook trout creek.
When I was young, farmers in Southern Alberta, Canada, would have shacks like that for itinerant farm workers at harvest time. Maybe a little nicer, but not much.
Here's the weird thing. Back then Canada was 25% richer than you damn yanks and many of the itinerant workers were American.
Must not be bear country.
